- Project Coordinator
Description
This is a key strategic position that will serve as a Project Coordinator between the Strategic Enrollment Management Team and various university business units we serve, including the Office of Student Success, and mission-critical units in Enrollment Planning & Management, such as Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar and several other campus partners. This position will assist with the planning, organizing, and executing of projects on behalf of Strategic Enrollment Management, from ideation through completion, and coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, ensuring that outcomes are aligned to strategic initiatives. The position will report to the Assistant Director, Project Management.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Communication, or related field.Experience may substitute for education.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.

• SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
• A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
• (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• (c) Six years of direct experience for a master's degree;
• (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
• Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
• Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
Must have 1-2 years experience in project management, administrative assistance, office management or related field. Familiarity with project management software (Jira, Asana, etc..)Working at USF

Assist the Assistant Director, Project Management with monitoring metrics and key performance indicators to measure progress toward project goals, monitoring and mitigating risks, assigning and monitoring tasks for project teams, updating project documents, and implementing a communication strategy with stakeholders and project team members.
Process Management
Assist with creating process documentation related to specific projects such as standard operating procedures (SOPs). Help develop or update templates for the Strategic Enrollment Management Planning and Assessment team to standardize internal team processes across projects.
Communication
Assist the Assistant Director, Project Management with providing information to all involved stakeholders throughout the duration of a project including the Office of Student Success, and mission-critical units in Enrollment Planning & Management, such as Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar, and several other campus partners and internal team members. Prepare project status reports in partnership with the Assistant
Director.
Performs other duties as assigned.
