What you will enjoy doing*
- You will perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, drawings and quality standards
- Further you will conduct inspections using precision measuring equipment and ensure proper operation of measurement devices
- You will coordinate calibration programs and maintain records for inspection, testing, and verification tools and gauges
- You will support Engineering and Operations in investigating, documenting and resolving quality nonconformities
- Moreover you will review customer orders and contracts to verify compliance with specifications, requirements and obligations
- Lastly you will maintain accurate quality documentation and product certifications, prepare laboratory test samples as required, and uphold a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
What makes you great
- You have three to five (3-5) years of aviation industry experience preferred, with knowledge of aerospace quality standards and requirements
- You will have working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102 First Article Inspection, and AMS 2750 standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to evaluate product conformity against established specifications
- Experienced in the use of precision inspection and measurement equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators and surface plates
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately, perform detailed inspection work, lift up to 40 pounds, and sit or stand for extended periods
