Description
As a Senior Contracts Lead at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the contract lifecycle for our business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, and finance teams, to ensure the successful execution of contracts and compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in contract management and negotiation will be instrumental in driving successful business outcomes and mitigating legal risks.You will work out of one of our Phoenix, AZ, Tempe, AZ, or Clearwater, FL locations on a Hybrid work schedule.
The Senior Contracts Lead role will have a significant impact on Honeywell's contract management function and overall business operations. By effectively managing and overseeing the execution of contracts, this role will ensure that Honeywell operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and protecting the company's interests.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including negotiation and drafting of Aerospace sales contracts
- Review, interpret, and analyze contract terms and conditions for FAR 12 and FAR 15 type USG contracts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic advice
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risk in contracts
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with customers
- Maintain accurate and up to date contract records and documentation
- Handle contract disputes and claims providing guidance on resolution
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years of experience managing and negotiating complex USG end user contracts
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions, with a specific knowledge of government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex terms and conditions
- Proficiency with the contract lifecycle management process
