Description
The Sr. Director, Healthcare Product Manager is a strategic leader within Equifax Workforce Solutions, driving growth for our employment-centric portfolios, with a specialized focus on Risk Intelligence and criminal data sets. You will leverage deep customer research and market expertise to solve real-world problems, collaborating across the organization to define our offerings, provide market context for decision-making, and deliver innovative solutions throughout the product life cycle. As a subject matter expert in employment-related markets, you will partner closely with our Go-To-Market team to steer client and market strategy based on robust discovery. You will own the full product life cycle, influence our strategic roadmap, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while navigating the competitive and regulatory pressures of the markets we serve.
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site presence at an Equifax office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday. While St. Louis is the preferred location, we will consider candidates living near any Equifax office.
What you'll do:

Act as the organization's subject matter expert, using segmentation and competitive analysis to identify differentiated opportunities and lead validation efforts via customer feedback and advisory boards.

- Strategic Planning & Vision - Own the healthcare product roadmap and build business cases for new concepts. Drive cross-functional alignment on positioning, pricing, and promotion across all distribution channels.
- Product Delivery & Execution - Translate complex compliance and administrative requirements into actionable requirements and acceptance criteria. Influence frictionless UX that balances industry guardrails with the distinct operational needs of healthcare buyers and background screening partners.
- Launch & Enablement - Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Success to lead feature launches. Manage pilot programs, iterate on solutions based on feedback. Develop training and compelling narratives that articulate operational ROI, specifically addressing the unique value drivers for background screening partners versus clinical/hospital executives.
- Growth & Portfolio Management - Manage portfolio financial performance, ensuring revenue and margin targets are met. Drive engagement and adoption by interpreting usage data and customer feedback to guide feature enhancements and lifecycle decisions.
What experience you need:

- Deep Healthcare Domain Expertise - Extensive, specialized experience within the healthcare industry ecosystem (e.g., healthcare talent solutions, medical credentialing, provider verification, health systems, or health tech) is strictly required.
- Regulatory & Compliance Fluency - Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy, regulatory landscapes, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, FCRA, primary source verification).
- Commercial & Channel Strategy - Proven success managing products across multiple channels, including both background screening providers (CRAs) and direct enterprise healthcare systems.
- Buyer Persona Fluency - Deep understanding of the distinct purchasing processes, pain points, and evaluation criteria of screening providers versus healthcare compliance and HR executives.
- Strategic & Technical Execution - Demonstrated ability to define clear product requirements, manage complex backlogs, and utilize tools like Jira, Aha!, or Figma to drive development.
- Matrixed Collaboration - Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Legal, Sales, Compliance) and present strategic roadmaps to executive leadership.
