Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Sr IT Engineer to lead enterprise-scale analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, and IT operations, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions across global organizations.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Data Engineering & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and analytics workflows using SQL, Python, and Power BI to support IT device's data, governance, and operational decision-making.
- Analyze and transform large-scale datasets (1M+ records) from diverse enterprise systems (Intune, Jamf, Tanium, ServiceNow, Active Directory, SQL, Smartsheet) to improve data integrity and consistency.
- Build intelligent automation workflows and audit engines to reconcile multisource datasets, reduce false negatives/positives, and enhance leadership visibility into data quality risks.
- Develop and operationalize machine learning models for ticket classification, leveraging NLP techniques and logistic regression to automate categorization and reporting for 200K+ enterprise tickets.
Qualifications
Business Intelligence & KPI Reporting
- Create and deliver Power BI dashboards that translate complex audit results into actionable KPI reporting, tracking migration progress, operational bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
- Lead the redesign and scaling of BI dashboards to enable deeper operational insights, including agentic analytics, cycle time, defect patterns, and workload distribution.
- Establish frameworks for KPI governance and reporting hierarchies, improving consistency and decision-making across operational teams.
Automation & Process Optimization
- Implement automated data workflows using Python, APIs, and SQL to streamline access management, user permissions, and data migrations.
- Develop interactive applications (e.g., Streamlit) for real-time status lookups, device's trends, risk reporting, and readiness tracking.
- Build Smartsheet dashboards for SLA tracking and reporting, enabling proactive performance monitoring and adherence to service-level commitments.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Leadership
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define data standards, KPIs, and reporting hierarchies.
- Lead cross-functional discovery and process mapping for enterprise client implementations, identifying data gaps and standardization opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI (Power Query, DAX, M Code), Smartsheet, and Excel (macros, VBA, pivot tables).
- Experience with machine learning, NLP, and AI-assisted analytics workflows.
- Strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and process workflow mapping skills.
Desired Skills
- Dashboard design and analytical skills for enterprise-scale reporting.
- Experience with ETL pipelines, statistics, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Visio, SPSS, Minitab, SAS, VS Code, and Jupyter Notebook.
- Ability to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency, governance, and decision-making.
