As a Sr IT Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting the IT infrastructure and systems that enable our aerospace operations to run efficiently and securely. You will work on implementing and maintaining technology solutions that support business objectives and enhance operational performance.

In this role, you will impact the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT services critical to Honeywell Aerospace, ensuring seamless technology operations that support innovation and business growth.

You will report directly to our Sr IT Manager and you'll work on a hybrid work schedule out of our Phoenix, Arizona site. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect aerospace data and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize IT solutions aligned with business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain service levels.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence within Aerospace.
• Travel: up to 10%

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering or systems administration roles.
• Strong experience in managing enterprise IT infrastructure and systems within a complex environment.
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, server management, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proficiency with IT service management tools and technologies relevant to aerospace industry requirements.
• Experience with virtualization, cloud services, and IT automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry IT standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), SonarQube, Black Duck Hub, and Coverity, Shell, Groovy, Python, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT service improvement.
