- Sr Program Manager
Description
As a Sr. Program Manager in the Next Generation Avionics Program Portfolio, you will play a crucial role as the Program Management Operating System (PMOS) Leader for the entire portfolio of multiple program keycodes. You will be responsible to ensure that the program and process adherence for each program is successful including analytics in the Manpower Allocation Tool (MAT), Element of Cost (EOC), Honeywell Milestone Reporter (HMR), SAP financials, and Accolade financials. You will be accountable for managing and delivering on both the program analytics as well as driving corrective and recovery actions on the data with each of the program managers within the portfolio. You will be responsible for chairing the Change Control Board (CCB), and Risk and Opportunities (R&O) reviews aligned with driving the program performance and scope across the portfolio. Your strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results will be essential in contributing to the success of Honeywell Aerospace Next Generation Avionics programs.You will report directly to the Next Generation Avionics Programs' Vice President and you'll work out of our Honeywell Aerospace Deer Valley location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Guide and oversee the execution of complex program portfolio
• Develop and implement portfolio metrics, operating reviews and recovery actions
• Drive program improvement actions to closure within schedule, budget, and scope
• Ensure alignment of programs with strategic objectives
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate/harvest.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure program success
• Provide guidance to engineering execution teams driving alignment with program quality
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management or related roles
• Strong guiding and team management skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong insight into program management ethics and methodologies
• Experience managing complex customer programs with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in a global organization
