The System Engineer IV - Hydrological Modeling Engineer serves as the technical authority for flood inundation science, model implementation, and operational forecasting performance in a remote work environment. This position ensures that the TRITON model delivers scientifically accurate, operationally relevant, and computationally efficient flood forecasts that directly support warfighter decision-making and mission planning. Success is measured through model accuracy, computational efficiency, validation against baseline results, and operational readiness.
