Job Description Summary
The Cook I is responsible for preparing meals for restaurant patrons. Employee must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and prep areas.
Job Description
Key Job Functions
- Follow all restaurant recipes
- Use product according to guidelines
- Properly store and zone all food items
- Assist in preparing for inventory with daily walkthrough and maintaining walk-in & dry storage so that everything is "sheet to shelf"
- Maintaining system clipboards throughout the shift
- Maintain all quality standards at all times per checklist "clipboards"
- Be in proper uniform and properly groomed at all times
- Properly set up prep area according to guidelines
- Complete and properly store all daily prep according to zoning and rotation guidelines
- Maintain all cooking technique standards
- Communicate repair and maintenance needs to management
- Assist in menu development - New menu items will adhere to the procedures outlined in the menu change checklist
- Keep prep station clean, organized and zoned properly according to specifications
- Comprehend and adhere to cleanliness and sanitation guidelines as prescribed by R'evolution standards as well as state and city codes
- Build solid relationship with your Colleagues
- Treat colleagues with respect and dignity
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

- You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations
